Our team of professionals at Woodland Dental Care work together to create a positive environment for you to receive dental care. Each one of them are dedicated to making all patients feel comfortable and welcomed in our office. All staff members maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to ensure quality dental care.
Dr. Rosenberger received his bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University and his Doctor of Dental
Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota. He then completed a one-year U.S. Army General Practice residency and then practiced 9 years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps. During that time, he served at Ft. Carson, CO; Nurnberg Germany; Ft. Sam Houston, TX; and finally, here in St. Louis where he met and married Dr. Ewell. Together they started Woodland Dental Care in 1990.
Dr. Rosenberger and Dr. Ewell have two daughters, Angelyn and Lauralyn. Angelyn currently works at Woodland Dental Care as a dentist and Lauralyn works as a pastry chef in Viroqua, Wisconsin.
Dr. Rosenberger also volunteers for Give Kids a Smile, a national program started in St. Louis, that provides free dental care to underprivileged children. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and Greater St. Louis Dental Society. In June 2021, he completed a fellowship degree for the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Rosenberger has many hobbies outside of dentistry, some of which include tropical fish, gardening, and restoration of old cars. He also races cars at road courses across the Midwest, including the Worldwide Technology raceway here in St. Louis!
Dr. Ewell received her bachelor’s degree and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Washington University here in St. Louis. She served for nine years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps Reserves, where she served at Ft. Irwin, Ca; Ft. Carson, CO; Ft. Lewis, WA; and here in St. Louis at Jefferson Barracks. In St. Louis, she met and married Dr. Rosenberger. They founded Woodland Dental Care in 1990.
Dr. Ewell currently works two half days at WDC and worked for the Gateway to Oral Health program for over 15 years. Gateway is a service organization that brings dental equipment and services to Medicaid-eligible children in their schools. Dr. Ewell found the work with these children both enjoyable and rewarding.
During her free time, Dr. Ewell takes piano and taekwondo lessons. She earned her second-degree black belt in taekwondo in December 2020. Dr. Ewell is also a highly active member of Florissant Presbyterian Church.
Dr. Angelyn is the daughter of Dr. Rosenberger and Dr. Ewell and has been practicing alongside them since 2019. Dr. Angelyn is a Hazelwood West 2011 graduate, received her bachelor’s degree from Truman State University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from UMKC School of Dentistry, where she was awarded the Dean’s Academic Distinction Award for graduating top in her class! She loves working and learning from her parents and is excited to treat the community she grew up in.
Dr. Angelyn is an active member of the dental community. She currently serves on the Greater St. Louis Dental Society New Dentist Committee, Missouri Dental Association House of Delegates, and is the Co-Founder of the St. Louis Chapter for American Association of Women Dentists.
During her spare time, Dr. Angelyn enjoys spending time with friends, exercising, and traveling to new places!
Toni received her dental hygiene license from Forest Park Community College where she also served as a clinical hygiene instructor for 15 years. Toni has been a part of Woodland Dental Care for almost 30 years! It has been an honor and pleasure working with us and all our patients throughout the years. Toni enjoys spending her time sewing, traveling to see her grandbabies, and working out
Barb has been a dental assistant with Woodland Dental Care for 26 years! She received her dental assisting certification from Al Med Academy in 1993. Ten years ago, she completed a training course and became an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. In her free time, she runs “Say It in Style”, a craft business on Facebook. She also enjoys outdoor adventures like hiking and kayaking!
Chris has been a part of Woodland Dental Care as a dental assistant for 9 years. He started his dental career as a dental technician for 2 years in the Air Force and then went on to receive his dental assisting certificate from Everest College. Chris enjoys listening to music, reading books, and doing outdoor activities with his family. Chris also enjoys cooking; especially pizza and anything spicy
Beth just started in 2021 as a full-time dental assistant with Woodland Dental Care but has been in the dental industry for 7 years. Beth started her career as Dr. Ewell’s dental assistant with the Gateway to Oral Health program after graduating from Anthem College in 2014. Beth is currently pursuing her Medical Billing and Coding degree as well from Trident University. During her free time, Beth enjoys being outdoors with her dogs and doing crafts with her nieces and nephews.
Ralph has been involved with the dental industry since 1980. He started his dental career in customer service for a local dental supplier. He has been the Woodland Dental Care scheduling coordinator for 17 years! He will do his best to find an appointment that is convenient for you.
Amy has been working in the dental field for 20 years! She received her dental assisting and billing & coding degree from Allied College. Amy has been with Woodland Dental Care since 2019 as our insurance and finance coordinator. In her spare time, Amy enjoys watching her daughter play sports, volunteering at her daughter’s school, and spending time with her family and puppies!
Chris has been working in the dental field for 53 years and 29 of those years have been here at Woodland Dental Care! She first worked as a dental assistant and now handles our insurance claims. She has enjoyed watching our patients age along with her!
